Principal's Message

Welcome to Harry L. Bain, home of the Bluejays!

Welcome to the 2020-21 school year! We anticipate this to be a unique one due to the unexpected closure of schools in March and the transition to remote learning. This unprecedented challenge has shown the great strength of the community. It takes a village to raise a child and this experience has proven to be so true. The partnership between the HLB staff and parents enables our students to be successful and move forward with their studies. Thank you for your help!

The start of a new school year is an exciting one. It provides a new beginning and students have an opportunity to challenge themselves to do their best. I believe this school year will have challenges but together we can move forward and provide our students with a well-rounded learning experience. The teachers are looking forward to a new school year to continue the HLB tradition of guiding students to reach their fullest potential. Please review our school webpage for updates about programs that will become available throughout the school year. These programs will help students emotionally, academically, and socially.

I look forward to working with you and encourage you to become involved in your our child’s academic journey. Education is the best gift a child can receive and together we can create a wonderful learning experience for all our students.

Respectfully,
Tara Mantineo, Principal
